Job Description About The Role We are looking for Quality Control Assistants to join the QA team at our Ashburton vegetable plant, for the upcoming harvest season.
While the harvest season is between November 2024 and the end of May 2025; this opportunity is also open to those who can work for part of the season.
Working on 12-hour shifts, 4 ON 4 OFF roster, Day and Night as directed.
As a Quality Control Assistant, you will be responsible for: Checking the quality of the Peas, Carrot, Corn and Potatoes Performing all routine quality tests following procedures Communication with departments involved when there is an issue Complying with HACCP, Food Safety, Quality and Health and safety Qualifications For this role, you'll need: Intermediate working with Excel, Word and other online tools Previous experience of H&S, environmental and food safety To be physically fit to lift weights and work for 12 hours on a shift Able to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information With Talley's, you get: Great working conditions.
