About the role We are hiring for Seafood Process Workers to join our team for the mussel season.
As a Seafood Process Worker, your tasks may include: Manual handling of product Operation of processing machinery Monitoring of food safety and quality of product Blanching of mussels Packing mussels Opening mussels Training of new staff and leading a team (when trained and competent) Full training available.
Pay Rates range from $24.50 - $25.51.
Contract piece rates apply when opening mussels.
Who are you?
You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure.
You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.
Reliable transportation is a requirement.
On-site training provided.
Seafood processing qualifications/experience advantageous, but not required.
You may be subjected to an English comprehension test.
