Seafood Manager – Pak'NSave Highland Park We're excited to announce that Pak'nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can't wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community! We're currently seeking an experienced Seafood Manager to join the team. As a department manager, you'll play an integral part in our journey towards a successful store opening and continuously deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our community. As Seafood Manager you will: Ensure overall operational excellence is achieved for the Seafood department Manage, motivate, train and support the Seafood team ensuring that best practice policies and operational procedures are met. Organising rostering for the Seafood department and managing staff leave. Ordering for the Seafood department through effective use of the in-store purchasing systems. Ensure appropriate stock control / stock taking processes and procedures are in place Cleaning of all serve overs, storage areas and Seafood equipment Ensuring sales and GP targets for the department are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlled appropriately Help to ensure the shop is full fresh and appealing throughout the hours of trade. Handle Customer enquiries and complaints appropriately and always ensure effective interactions with customers What's in it for you? What we're looking for: A passion for all things seafood. Previous seafood experience – ideally in a retail environment. SAP experience is desirable. Strong leadership skills - experience supervising and organising a team. Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment Have fantastic customer service experience Be physically fit and able to fulfil all the requirements of the role #J-18808-Ljbffr
