Scrum Master - 6 Month Fixed Term

The Scrum Master role facilitates, coordinates and supports delivery teams to achieve frequent releases of value.
Scrum Masters are servant leaders and coaches for a team. They help educate the team in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, or whichever methodology is being applied and ensure that the agreed Agile process is being followed. They also help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
The Scrum Master ensures the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices they collectively agreed they would use.
Key responsibilities of the role: Helps team understand their pain points / flow issues.
Helps remove blockers / impediments from squads.
Protects the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
Facilitates the team's progress toward team goals – The Scrum Master is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
Helps day to day with the Service Group Owners and Service Owners to facilitate broader scaled events.

Experienced track record as a Scrum Master.
Proven experience applying a variety of agile facilitation tools and practices.
Understands fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
Understand backlog tracking and refinement, burndown metrics, velocity and task definition.
Use of scalable agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS.
Exceptional skills in facilitating retrospectives.
Experience with Continuous Delivery.
