We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated head of hard technology to join this well-resourced department at our vibrant school in Westport. You will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with a dedicated team to design engaging programmes that align with your individual strengths while meeting the diverse needs of our learners. These learners include the Y7-8 students from our local contributing schools.
With around 360 students, our school fosters an inclusive culture where every learner is encouraged to thrive. Our small class sizes enable personalised attention, allowing you to make a significant impact on student learning.
Beyond the classroom, we offer a rich array of leadership, sports, arts, and cultural activities, ensuring that students can explore their talents and interests.

The successful candidate will be :
A NZ registered and certified teacher.
Expertise in areas such as Wood, Metal, or Graphics (state your strength in your application).
Focused on self-reflection and continuous improvement.
A strong communicator with a relationship-focused approach.
Flexible and adaptable in a team environment.
