We are looking for Screening and Enquiries Analysts in our Competition, Fair Trading and Credit branch.
We will consider part-time or full-time candidates for these Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) office based roles.
Mo te turanga | About the role Our Screening and Enquiries Analyst role would suit someone who wants to grow or consolidate their analytical skills, who is interested in working in a public sector regulatory environment, or a current law/business/economics student who is keen to kick-start a career in the public sector.
Working in our Screening & Enquiries team, you will assess complaints received by the Commission against Fair Trading, Consumer Credit and Competition laws.
You will gather and assess facts, identify potential breaches of law, and provide clear, accurate written recommendations.
Your work will directly impact on the Commission's regulatory and compliance role.

The indicative salary range for the Analyst role is $70,339 - $82,752 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.
