School Guidance Counsellor / PsychologistDarfield High School – Darfield, South IslandWe're looking for the right person who can make a real difference for our students, someone committed to our vision and capable of building relationships of trust throughout our school community. This is a permanent part-time or full-time position (by negotiation).We're keen to hear from suitably qualified and experienced counsellors or psychologists. This role will require a certified/registered professional who enjoys the challenges and opportunities of working with teenagers (especially boys) and has a good grasp of rural Kiwi culture. Being a team player alongside our existing guidance counsellor and within our student services team is essential.This position can be full-time or part-time (3-5 days a week), ideally starting 28 January 2025, with room for negotiation.As a semi-rural school close to Otautahi/Christchurch and the Alps, at the heart of our community, our development programme is based on a strong vision. We're in the midst of implementing PB4L and restorative practices, curriculum reform, and cultural capability development.
