School Caretaker

Job Responsibilities Performing general maintenance and minor repairs on school buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
Maintaining school grounds, including edge trimming, raking leaves, and basic gardening tasks.
Conducting regular checks on playgrounds and outdoor equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Cleaning and maintaining specific areas of the school as required.
Assisting with setting up and breaking down equipment for school events.
Performing basic cleaning tasks to supplement the work of contracted cleaners.
Promptly responding to emergencies and unexpected maintenance issues when onsite.
Conducting regular safety checks and maintaining health and safety records.
Liaising with contractors and organizing repairs when necessary.
