School Business Manager

Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) We are seeking a dynamic Business Manager to join our school who will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school's day-to-day business operations. HR & Payroll are not included in this role. The role is busy and diverse, and you will be working in a very supportive and positive environment. The applicants must be proficient in the use of Xero. Knowledge of ApprovalMax and Monty is an advantage but not essential. Wairoa College is a school of over 440 students and 60 teaching and support staff. The Business Manager is a key member of the school community, holding responsibility for the daily management of financial functions, board reporting, funding applications, and other miscellaneous administration tasks. The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Key attributes for this role include: Comprehensive accounting experience at a senior level, including preparation of budgets, monthly variance reporting, asset management, and audit processes.
