Strong communication skills and a high level of discretion are essential for this role, as well as a strong commitment to supporting our school's values and culture.Key Responsibilities:General Administration: Support with general office duties such as filing, correspondence, maintaining records, and covering the front desk.School Board: Assist with managing School Board meetings, taking minutes, and communicating with the Board and leadership team.Student Management: Use the student management system (HERO) to maintain accurate student records as well as day-to-day tasks such as attendance.Financial Administration: Assist with school invoicing, payments using Edpay and Xero (training available), bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and preparation of monthly financial accounts.Payroll and Budget Management: Support payroll and budget tracking functions.Variety of Tasks: Perform a wide range of duties including supporting teaching staff, first aid, assisting with school events, and handling school communications.Key Attributes:A team player with a positive attitude and excellent sense of humour.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.Highly organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Flexible and adaptable, as the role involves a diverse range of tasks.Previous experience with HERO, Edpay, or Xero is advantageous.Experience in school administration is preferred, though we welcome applications from candidates with administrative experience from other sectors.A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this multifaceted role.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
