Exciting Opportunity for Kiwis Looking to Relocate to Australia! Job Description: As a Scales Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of weighing and measuring equipment for a diverse client base. With three branches across VIC and NSW, you will travel frequently between locations, ensuring the highest standard of service is provided. Key Responsibilities: Install, calibrate, maintain weighing and measuring equipment for clients in various industriesTroubleshoot and repair technical issues with weighing devicesPerform routine inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standardsMaintain detailed records of service activities and ensure timely reporting through software program SimPRO.Frequent travel between VIC and NSW for client servicesSkills and Qualifications: 5+ year's experience as a Scale TechnicianStrong knowledge of calibration and technical repair of weighing/measuring equipmentExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyFull clean NZ driver's license or truck driving experience highly desirableWillingness to travel frequently for work (including overnight stays)NMI certification or willingness to obtain it with client supportKey Benefits: Competitive hourly rateOvertime Opportunities:       - Time & a half rate for first 3 hours after 8 hours worked (Mon – Fri) and first 3 hours on Saturday       - Double hourly rate for all other hours worked in excess of above  Relocation package includes flight tickets and accommodation for the first month (or longer, until you secure your own place)Company vehicleFull uniform, laptop and phone providedOur client will assist you in obtaining your NMI (National Measurement Institute) verification licence.Ongoing training opportunities to enhance your careerEligibility: You must be a New Zealand citizen / Permanent Resident to be considered for this role.If you are a skilled Scale Technician from New Zealand looking to take the next step in your career and relocate to Australia, this is in an exciting opportunity!
