Scale A teachers Y3–4 and Y7–8 (2 positions) Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 27/01/2026 (Roll changes.) Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Scale A teachers for our Y3–4 and Y7–8 classes. Start date negotiable. Up-to-date literacy and numeracy knowledge and effective classroom practice are essential. We seek someone who builds positive relationships, is culturally responsive, and has excellent communication skills when working with students, families, and colleagues. We value our professional staff and run a collaborative student-centred approach, with a focus on raising student achievement within a rich, broad curriculum. We are a new build school - 6 years old - so you will enjoy fresh new classrooms and modern facilities. We operate as learning hubs, with two teachers per hub and two support staff in each. Teaching is collaborative, giving both teachers the opportunity to teach to their strengths. Staff wellness is important, and we have a dedicated staff gym with all the latest exercise equipment for those who wish to use it.
