We are looking for a great teacher to join our rural country school in the heart of Galatea from 2025. This is a full-time, permanent teaching position. We are situated 1 hour from Whakatane or Rotorua and nestled underneath the mighty Te Ika Whenua Mountain ranges that border Te Urewera Forest. Due to our rural nature, we are able to offer a staffing incentive allowance on top of the base salary allowance.
The best part about our school are OUR KIDS!!! We will have a starting roll of 130 students and currently have 6 classes in action from Y0-8. We are a supportive team of teachers and support staff and want someone who is like-minded, has a sense of humour, uses their initiative, and loves teaching!
This position is suited to a beginning teacher/returning teacher and we will have support in place to help you with your journey if you are the successful applicant.
