Mimitangiatua is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. We are looking for a teacher with strong curriculum pedagogy, someone who brings expertise in engaging students and a commitment to effective and inclusive teaching. You will understand the importance of enacting and upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, working to uplift te reo me ona tikanga in the classroom and across our school. We also seek a kaiako who possesses the following attributes:
Curriculum expertise : strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum to design and implement engaging, meaningful lessons.
Community-focused : As a member of our rural school community, you will play a visible role, connecting with whanau and contributing to the wider community.
Exceptional classroom management : A restorative, calm approach to managing the classroom is key. You bring empathy, respect, and consistency to support students in developing self-management and positive social relationships.
