Scale A Teacher - Untagged Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 28/01/2025, End Date: 17/12/2025 (Covering teacher who is doing a special roll in 2025)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts.
We seek a highly motivated and dedicated teacher who has a passion for teaching our tamariki and can integrate learning across the curriculum. We value the importance of strong relationships with learners, staff, and whanau.
You will work collaboratively to support and share good practice with other teachers and support staff.
You will promote student agency through strong teaching practice, celebrating diversity.
You are committed to growing your own confidence in Te Reo me te Tikanga Maori.
The Structured Literacy approach is implemented.
In 2025, Mathematics will be one of our key focus areas.
The successful applicant will be expected to support the ethos and special character of the school.
This position is in our Junior Syndicate and commences in Term 1, 2025.
