Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.4, Start Date: 30/01/2025, End Date: 16/12/2025 (Special project) Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts We are seeking a passionate and inspiring teacher to join the kaiako team in our culturally diverse school.
The successful applicant will be working on a special project providing Tier 2 literacy support across the school.
A strength in culturally responsive teaching practices is desirable.
The ability to develop strong relationships with students and whanau is essential.
You must be highly motivated, flexible, have a growth mindset, and a desire for ongoing professional development.
Experience teaching using a structured literacy approach (preferably with iDeal) is an advantage.
This position would be 2.5 hours per day, four days per week.
