Alongside the main responsibility of classroom teacher, this teacher will have the opportunity to apply to take on remunerated responsibility for the following leadership areas:In School Leader for Leadership of our Maths Curriculum ($4,000 - $8,000 per annum)Working as part of our Maths Leadership Team to unpack the new curriculumIn School Leader for Leadership of Collaborative Practice at ANI ($4,000 - $8,000 per annum)Arts/Cultural Coordination ($4,500 per annum)Supporting the coordination of Arts & Cultural opportunities for studentsTeachers at ANI are passionate, motivated leaders of learning who cater exceptionally well to the needs of the emerging adolescent (Year 7 & 8). We have state of the art modern learning spaces which consist of 2 teacher ILE's or 3 teacher hubs.At ANI, the classroom teacher has one full day of release each week for team meetings, planning, observations, and opportunities to coordinate school initiatives.ANI also offers the highly sought after International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme (PYP) that complements the NZ Curriculum. Full professional development will be provided for those unfamiliar with this programme.We are seeking a permanent teacher; however, this will be dependent on suitable resident/visa status, and the contract can be altered to be fixed term to support a suitable candidate.
