Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 29/01/2025, End Date: 16/12/2025 (Additional staffing)Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacherSubjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The artsCome and teach our awesome tamariki at our picturesque rural school (Y1-6).We seek a passionate and excellent classroom teacher with recent successful teaching experience in New Zealand primary schools who:Is a self-motivated team player, caring, collaborative, and highly organised with sound curriculum knowledge.Has strengths in literacy and mathematics, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, children, and the whanau in our community.Can create a rich learning environment based on positive classroom management.Shows our school vision (Learning for Life) and our rural values of Integrity, Challenge, Ambition, Respect, and Encourage.The capability to lead sports organisation would be an advantage but not essential. A fixed-term management unit will be attached to the Sports organisation role.We are a 15-minute drive from Morrinsville and near Hamilton.
