Inglewood Primary School is a full primary Y1–8. We focus on developing strong relationships with our tamariki / whanau through a successful restorative approach. We are committed to continually improving our staff knowledge of our local area (including iwi connections) so that we can provide real life learning for our children.
We are looking for teachers with the following skills: Future-focused positive leader / teacher who can effectively lead and work as part of a collaborative and supportive whanau teaching team
Student-centred
Able to develop strong, respectful relationships with students and staff
Have strong personal classroom practice – planning, delivery and assessment
Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
Prepared to commit to extracurricular school activities – becoming a real presence in our school community
Think creatively and critically about educational practices across the NZ Curriculum
Understand and is responsive to the importance of students' language, identity and culture
Willing to adopt and support our school REACH values
Have a keen sense of humour and a love of morning tea is a MUST!
