We are seeking a passionate and inspiring teacher to join the kaiako team in our culturally diverse school while one of our kaiako is on refreshment leave. The successful applicant will have strengths in culturally responsive teaching practices. You will likely be working in a Y4–6 models class; however, you must be willing to work across the school. You must be able to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with students and whanau. A high level of motivation, a growth mindset, a desire for ongoing professional development, and a genuine desire to work in a Normal school are essential. Experience teaching using a structured literacy approach would be helpful.
