Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts.
Apanui School has the right mix for children. We strongly believe that primary school education is about providing children with a broad curriculum and range of learning experiences. We provide quality learning through structured literacy (using the Ideal platform) and maths.
Learning through Play and PB4L are embedded schoolwide and we have a strong local curriculum with clear links to our iwi and local history.
All of our teachers are working towards a minimum of level 4b immersion in their classroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, innovative school. The position is likely to be in Y3–4. However, there is some flexibility.
