Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts
We seek an outstanding, energetic class teacher to join our team at Te Kura o Takaro/ Takaro School in 2025. This will be in the junior school.
The person we are looking for will be:
Able to demonstrate commitment to Te Ao Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and celebrate diversity.
Willing and able to work in a cooperative team environment, following our school values.
A reflective practitioner, able to promote student-centered learning and quality curriculum programmes.
Able to build professional and trusting relationships and communicate effectively.
Someone who can assist with pastoral care and behaviour management.
