About The Role
Position: Sawmill Loader Operator
We have a permanent position available for a Loader Operator at our Pan Pac Sawmill operation, involving shift work with both day and night shifts. While prior log handling experience is preferred, we also welcome candidates from related industries and offer comprehensive training. We prioritize safety consciousness and seek candidates with a positive attitude, maturity, and those that are keen to get stuck into it!
Status: With experience you can earn up to $35.50 per hour. Roster is 4 on, 3 off, rotating between Day and Night shift. Start and finish times for Day shift is 0600-1530 and for Night shift is 1530-0200.
Location: Pan Pac Sawmill - Napier
Specific Responsibilities
Operating the a wheeled loader, you will be;
Arranging logs into orderly rows and transferring logs from rows for placement onto log decks.
Transferring logs around the log yard.
Maintaining open communication with the team.
Key Requirements:
Log handling experience is desirable.
To be a genuine team player with a can-do attitude.
A current Full NZ Driver's License.
