Salary $142,683 -$210,933 NZD (depending on experience). Minimum 12 month contract. The Role Taranaki District Health Board serves a population of 118,000 and this role is based in New Plymouth, the main city within the Taranaki Province. Located in the scenic Taranaki region, Hawera Hospital serves the 30,000 population of South Taranaki and is equipped with a 7-bed Emergency Department, 17-bed inpatient ward, and Primary Birthing Unit. The hospital sees approximately 15,000 ED patients annually and offers a range of outpatient specialist clinics on-site. Accredited Rural Hospital: Gain experience working in an accredited rural hospital with RHM trainees. Innovative Primary Care Services: Work alongside a team delivering primary care integrated with secondary and tertiary services.
