This role in our sample reception/preparation team is an exciting opportunity that will require a strong attention to detail and desire for quality.
Proficiency in computer skills is a must as this role involves data entry and use of specific software for everyday tasks.This role has a focus on logistics and organization as you will be required to take into account the needs of the lab and plan your day around those needs.Key Responsibilities:Receipt of samples through our LIMS system.Preparation of samples using methods like weighing, blending, and pipetting.Managing sample retention/storage and disposal of expended samples.Adhering to quality assurance regulations, including cleaning and keeping training records up to date.Effective communication, answering queries, and providing timely updates to your supervisor through written and verbal communication.If you have the highest attention to detail, communication skills, and standards of quality, then we want to hear from you today!About You:Please be advised this is a shift-based full-time role, 40 hours a week, with working days being Tuesday to Saturday with some flexibility to work overtime as the lab is functioning 6 days a week.To be successful in the role, you will require:A passion for food safety and quality.Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry 10kg weight consistently.Exemplary attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills.Pride in what you do, the quality of your work, and a true team ethos.
