We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Samoan-speaking teacher to join Fofoa i Vaoese, our Samoan bilingual team. There are four classes in Fofoa i Vaoese catering for students from Y0–8. This position will commence on 28 January 2025.
If you would like to be part of a well-resourced school that has amazing students and collegial support, we are seeking a collaborative and innovative teacher who wants to promote student-led learning and inquiry as well as having excellent classroom practice. Our ideal applicant will be familiar with the New Zealand Curriculum , have good communication skills, the ability to form reciprocal learning-focused relationships with students and aiga, and be willing to continue to learn and plan collaboratively with colleagues. Ability to communicate in both Samoan and English is essential for this position.
