Regular hours - paid weekly On the job training & forklift endorsement paid for Staff discount on commencement About the Role We have an opportunity to join our team as an Outdoor Timber Specialist (Salesperson). Based at our Retail Store 75 Barry Avenue, Cromwell you'll greet customers with a smile and 'can do' attitude, talk to them either in person or over the phone, finding out their product needs to ensure they get the best value option for their project. We all work as part of team here so helping in the yard putting orders together, putting product away and using the forklift may also be required. Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with Saturday mornings rostered amongst the team. Skills and Experience While a background in sales, customer service or farming may be an advantage, as full training will be provided , it is more important that you are able to demonstrate: Self-motivation and reliability. Honesty, integrity and a commitment to deliver what you promise. A friendly, energetic and positive personality. Physical fitness appropriate for lifting timber/posts with a commitment to safe work practices. A willingness to be trained and learn new skills. You will need a full driver's licence (or the ability to get soon) as you will be required to drive our vehicles/get your F licence endorsement once trained. What's in it for you?
