We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of domestic insurance brokers/advisers. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales who is ready to step up into a leadership role or someone already experienced in team leadership. The Sales Team Leader will drive team performance, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, achievement of sales and retention targets, and provision of optimal insurance solutions to clients.
This is a dual role that involves both new business sales and team management.
What You'll Do Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of insurance brokers/advisers, fostering a positive and results-driven environment.Performance Management Monitor and evaluate team performance against KPIs, offering constructive feedback and implementing improvement strategies.Training and Development Identify skill gaps and provide ongoing coaching to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service excellence.Customer Service Excellence Ensure the team delivers exceptional service through accurate and comprehensive advice on domestic insurance products (home, contents, vehicle, etc.).Sales Management Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets, exploring cross-selling opportunities within domestic insurance lines.Support Distribution Assist in providing a high level of service to referral partners, developing strong relationships to help grow transactions.Compliance and Quality Control Ensure all team members adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, company policies, and ethical guidelines in all client interactions.Problem Resolution Act as an escalation point for complex customer queries or disputes, offering timely and effective solutions.Reporting Prepare and present regular performance reports to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
