The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to our sales representatives, focusing on outbound sales of our exclusive product range and key everyday SKU's available through Fortis.
This role aims to maximize customer spend by promoting Fortis and our point of difference in the market.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Promotion: Actively support outbound sales initiatives for Fortis's exclusive product range, grow key SKU's and maintain Fortis as a consistent presence in the New Zealand Market.Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems, ensuring accurate records of interactions and transactions.Administrative Support: Prepare monthly sales support documents for key customers, assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and promotions to help maximize sales.Communication: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing detailed product information and support.Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports focusing on outbound sales growth and margin improvements through exclusive products as well as identifying trends and potential opportunities and areas for improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team of up to six representatives to coordinate efforts and maximize customer engagement.
At times act as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure efficient workflow, i.e., notification of freight delays, product supply, etc.Travel: Occasionally travel to local customers on an as-needed basis to provide on-site support and foster relationships.Outbound Calls: Conduct proactive outbound calls to customers to promote exclusive products, monthly promotions and new offerings that can generate and drive sales growth.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in a sales support or similar role, preferably within the veterinary or pharmaceutical industry.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.Motivation: Self-starter with a proactive approach to supporting sales initiatives and achieving targets.Travel Availability: Willingness to travel locally on occasion to meet with customers.Performance MetricsSales Growth: Achieve targets for sales growth in the outbound sales portfolio.Margin Improvement: Contribute to growth in margin through the sale of exclusive products and other key products on offer.Outbound Calls: Meet or exceed KPIs related to the number and quality of outbound calls to customers.What We OfferBenefits Package:Professional Growth: Opportunities for training, development, and career advancement within the company.Work Environment: A supportive and inclusive culture that values teamwork, innovation, and a passion for animal health.
