We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Support professional to join our team in Palmerston North. The primary role is to support the sales function of the business by delivering outstanding service to our key accounts, assisting salespeople on the road, and providing general customer service assistance. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring they receive proactive and exceptional service.Provide administrative and coordination support to the sales team, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing product enquiries.Provide personal assistance to the director, including managing schedules, booking appointments, and coordinating travel arrangements.Assist with email and calendar management for the director, ensuring important tasks and deadlines are met.Support sales representatives on the road by managing customer requests, updating order statuses, and liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth communication.Assist with general customer service, answering phone and email enquiries, and handling any issues or complaints professionally.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Window Trendz Group products and services to offer informed solutions to customers.Ensure accuracy in data entry, order processing, and the management of sales-related documentation.Coordinate with the warehouse and installation teams to monitor product availability and delivery timelines.Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably within the window furnishings or home interiors industry would be advantageous.Minimum 3 years experience in an office or sales environment is required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems is a plus.A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience.Supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for career growth within a leading window furnishings company.If you're passionate about customer service, enjoy supporting a sales team, and want to be part of a growing business, we'd love to hear from you!
