About the opportunity | Te whai waahi By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you're joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career. We've got an opening for a fixed term opportunity! As the newest addition to our local Wellsford store, you'll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising to customer service, you'll never be bored in this fast-paced role! This is an exciting opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn't be a better place to start! This is a 6-month part-time contract, with opportunity to pick up on additional hours. You will see yourself working Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am till 3.30 pm and Saturdays 9 am till 12 pm. About you | Moe koe You'll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You'll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product on a daily basis. Ideally, you'll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we're equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry. Sound like you, other key things we're on the lookout for includes: A good level of physical fitness – you'll have no trouble getting your daily steps in! A valid forklift license would be desirable!
