About the opportunity | Te whai waahi Step into a dynamic role with Farm Source and become part of a team of agricultural experts committed to excellence. As the newest member of our Hawera store, you'll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch farming product advice to our dedicated customers.
In the role of Sales Specialist - Technical, you'll engage in a variety of tasks from merchandising and customer service to deliveries, ensuring that no two days are the same in this fast-paced environment. As the face of Farm Source in the community, you'll be a trusted advisor, driving sales and service excellence to help our store achieve its business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Store Manager and TSR, supported by the Technical Sales Manager, to maximize sales through proactive planning and targeted campaigns. Conduct on-farm visits to maintain strong visibility and relationships with customers. Keep detailed records of activities and ensure the customer database is always current. Understand the seasonal cycles of farming and their impact on both the farmer's and our business. Enhance your knowledge and skills in our key product categories. About you | Moe koe You'll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You'll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product on a daily basis.

Prior customer service experience, along with at least 2 years in sales or dairy, and have a strong connection to the agricultural industry. A good level of physical fitness – you'll have no trouble getting your daily steps in! A full clean driver's license; manual would be beneficial.
