Sales Specialist (Sales Specialist Indirect North - NZ) is responsible for improving sales and contract management of a diverse portfolio of lubricant customers across New Zealand. The role is accountable for delivering volume, turnover, and margin targets along with other sales metrics whilst supporting customers and partners generate value for their businesses.

Travel Requirement:
Up to 50% travel should be expected with this role. A work vehicle will be provided!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Develop and implement the annual territory business plan for each account and ensure these plans are aligned with the overall business strategy and relevant strategic partners.
Deliver financial performance targets for the portfolio customer base including Volume, Gross Margins, Turnover, and Debt Management.
Develop and implement the prospecting strategy for the territory, including data gathering, competitor and market analysis, customer and relationship management, and the tender/offer process.
Manage customer business reviews to communicate and prove value delivery for our customers and cultivate relationships.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience in similar sales, technical, or marketing roles.
Experience engaging multiple team members both within and outside the organization.
Engaging and driven, open to change, and digitally capable.
Comfortable working both individually and in a team environment.
Track record of delivery of sales targets and performance.
Strong time management skills with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant experience of the local market including legislative and regulatory knowledge would be advantageous.
Lubricants and Technical Product knowledge, although not crucial, would be advantageous.
A pro-active and enthusiastic attitude to all tasks.
