As a Sales Representative at Mico, you'll play an integral part in proactively finding new business. This role will see you grow your ledger by growing your value and number of accounts. You will be part of a team of 13 reporting to our Area Sales Manager. Based in Nelson this role will see you travel and visit clients from Nelson to Marlborough area.
You will be responsible for: Ensure our key customers are receiving the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction Identifying sales opportunities both in existing and new customers Working shoulder to shoulder with our 3 branches in Nelson, Motueka and Blenheim to grow our market share. Ensuring regularity of contact so you can be ahead of the game Collaborating with your colleagues and communicating with customers about stock availability, delivery times and pricing Developing relationships within the community and promoting brand awareness This is a permanent full-time role, Monday-Friday. This customer facing role means you are out driving sales in the area; and ideally is based in Nelson, where the largest concentration of customers are located. About you: With a proven Account Management/Sales rep background and a real passion for our industry, preferably experience with Plumbing, Building or Construction products, but not necessarily essential. You will be a resilient, self-driven person who genuinely enjoys, and thrives on building strong credible working relationships and has a drive for sales results.
To really understand our customers and to be successful in this role you will need to also demonstrate the following - Passionate about building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is an absolute must!
