Job Description An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our company as a Dunedin based Sales Representative in the Distribution channel, servicing all leading Builders Merchants, Hardware stores, Specialist Tiling stores, Plumbing outlets and major Home Improvement Centres in the Dunedin/Otago/Southland region. What are we looking for? We are open to looking at people from all backgrounds. You will be a people person who has the X factor with an ability to engage and build solid and lasting relationships with people from all walks of life. You will be comfortable working alongside store owners and management one moment and store floor staff the next. You are a capable self-starter who will relish the chance to look for sales opportunities as well as implementing sales promotions and new product launches. More importantly you will be an outstanding communicator who will enhance Sika's service and support to stores by being a solution provider, as well as executing regular customer and end user trainings. You will also enjoy being the face of Sika attending regular trade evenings and breakfasts and other customer events. Due to the nature of the role, there is out of town travel involved, and in general, we anticipate 4 nights away from home per month. During the year there will also be times where due to customer events you would be required to either start early or finish later than normal working hours.
