What you'll be doing: Share the excitement that our customers have when calling us to take out insurance on a new house, car or contents.
You will create an exceptional experience by providing the best solutions to our prospective and existing customers.
We call the role a Sales Representative, but we are not your typical sales team.
We don't just advise on new insurance policies; we deliver our purpose to care, help and get things sorted for our customers.
Our skilled team does this by proactively assessing customer needs, providing personalised financial advice and solutions to help them make informed decisions about their insurances.
A typical week: Primarily taking inbound calls from customers looking for a quote, some advice, and the certainty we will be protecting their treasured items.
Taking a genuine interest and care with every customer and delivering exceptional service Proactively assessing customer needs and finding the best insurance solution for them Being a collaborative, engaging and actively involved team player.
You will have team meetings, one-on-one coaching plus learning and development time.
We are looking for people to be based in our Auckland or Hamilton office with hybrid working arrangements of 2 days per week in the office.
We do offer work from home opportunities if you are based outside of these locations.
Your first day would be Monday 2 nd September 2024, which is when your training starts.
This is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm for the duration of 4 weeks.
Training is virtual or onsite in our Auckland City Centre or Hamilton offices, depending on your preference.
You will be given all the equipment needed; however, you will need to have the below technology requirements: Fibre internet connection, with an internet speed of 10Mbps or higher & Wifi Suitable private workspace with comfortable desk and chair After training you can expect the following roster: A rotating roster,working 7.5-hour shifts totalling 37.5 hours a week between 8am - 8pm on weekdays, and 8am - 6pm on weekends.
On average you will work one weekend day per month.
Twice a year you will be given a 4-week roster of Thursday - Sunday shifts.
Your rosters are given at least 4 weeks in advance to give you certainty.
You must be available to start on Monday 2 nd September 2024.
A bit about you: You will be a "people's person" who is curious and loves having genuine conversations.
You will enjoy the fulfilment of helping others, sharing your knowledge and guiding customers on the best plan for them.
You will have strong communications skills and the ability to tailor your approach to fit the needs of each customer.
You will need some proven experience in customer service and be able to share examples of how you have gone the extra mile for your customers in whatever industry that is.
As a keen learner you will not be shy to take on 3 weeks of training on financial legislation and systems all with the support of other new learners and exceptional facilitators.
