About the opportunityIn this role you'll balance gaining and servicing profitable sales whilst delivering outstanding customer service. As our Sales Representative in Dunedin, you're a pro-active person who values strong customer and staff relationships and is willing to get stuck in to keep the branch growing.Your role will be to develop and maintain advanced level relationships to secure profitable growth with local Electricians. You'll be a master of diplomacy and able to achieve great outcomes for all!Our preferred candidate has a strong sales focus and likes to spend time truly understanding our customers and providing relevant solutions in a timely manner. Technical electrical or trade knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement. We work on the key attributes of Honesty, Trust and Integrity.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Performing a customer call cycle and cold calling.Developing and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships, identifying business opportunities to increase sales and margin levels.Keeping abreast of commercial and financial requirements to achieve KPIs and targets.Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.Reporting and attending sales seminars.The hours of work for your role are Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.00pm.On offer is a competitive salary with vehicle, healthcare, holiday home subsidies, birthday leave and an already strong, close-knit team that will help you succeed.
