B & H Builders (2008) Limited is a reputable construction business in the commercial, residential, and civil & infrastructure sectors, with offices in both Auckland and Wellington regions. We have an excellent reputation in the market and want to find someone who can contribute to the B & H Builders (2008) Limited name and values.
We currently have a position available for an experienced Sales Representative/Contracts Manager to join our Wellington based team.
Our Wellington office consists of a team of 5 staff who you will be communicating with on a day-by-day basis. Fitting into the existing team is a critical factor so the successful applicant must be team orientated, be able to work with all levels of the business and have good client relationship skills. You must have a positive attitude, good sense of humour and the ability to communicate clearly.
The successful applicant must have a right to work in New Zealand and have had New Zealand construction experience or in a similar construction market.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Achieves and strives to exceed sales budget. Builds a new customer pipeline by making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to prospective customers. Analyses and determines the value of prospective customers to the organisation. Establishes, develops and then maintains business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business for the organisation's services. Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, and project team. Maintains customer pipeline by making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to achieve further sales and/or to upsell to customers. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. Develops and maintains positive business relationships with current customers to continue selling the organisation's services. Uses a consultative sales approach to build strong customer relationships and trust. Identifies advantages and compares organisation's services. Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services. Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. If you love the thrill of sales and have excellent communication skills, then this job is for you. Previous recruitment/construction industry experience is a must. Previous contract work is a must.
