Our client is a well-respected, Christchurch based company that specialises in distributing aquatic apparel & sports equipment to key retailers in New Zealand & Australia. With a strong focus on client interaction, developing sales opportunities, meeting compliance & production requirements and ensuring brand reputation in the market, no two days will be the same.
Your new role Act as first point of contact for all key client relationships & special projectsLiaise with graphics team on artworks, packaging & catalogue requirementsDevelop & produce catalogues and pricing for special client presentationsConnect with both factories & finance to ensure orders are promptly processedInform factory, client and internal teams of any changes affecting ordersCreate easy to use display products, including packaging for clientsAttend factory inspections (China) for quality assurance & best practiceWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience in sales, production & distribution within the fashion or sporting goods sector will work to your advantageExperience in overseas factory production requirements & seasonal timelinesPassion for working with key retailers to build strong working relationshipsBe comfortable conducting meetings with buyers & merchandising managersExposure to working on or alongside marketing teams for the promotion of productsExcellent Microsoft skills to conduct & process orders and reportsComfortable travelling within NZ and overseas with set timeframesWhat you'll get in return Competitive remuneration plus bonus structureModern offices and a place you will love to come to workNo direct reports in this leading roleAward-winning and reputable NZ family-owned businessFull training and induction with ongoing development opportunities What you need to do now
