Your new company Our client is a well-respected, Christchurch based company that specialises in distributing aquatic apparel & sports equipment to key retailers in New Zealand & Australia.
With a strong focus on client interaction, developing sales opportunities, meeting compliance & production requirements and ensuring brand reputation in the market, no two days will be the same.
Your new role Act as first point of contact for all key client relationships & special projects Liaise with graphics team on artworks, packaging & catalogue requirements Develop & produce catalogues and pricing for special client presentations Connect with both factories & finance to ensure orders are promptly processed Inform factory, client and internal teams of any changes affecting orders Create easy to use display products, including packaging for clients Attend factory inspections (China) for quality assurance & best practice What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in sales, production & distribution within the fashion or sporting goods sector will work to your advantage Experience in overseas factory production requirements & seasonal timelines Passion for working with key retailers to build strong working relationships Be comfortable conducting meetings with buyers & merchandising managers Exposure to working on or alongside marketing teams for the promotion of products Excellent Microsoft skills to conduct & process orders and reports Comfortable travelling within NZ and overseas with set timeframes What you'll get in return Modern offices and a place you will love to come to work No direct reports in this leading role Award-winning and reputable NZ family-owned business Full training and induction with ongoing development opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call Emma now on 04 886 3806.
