Your new company Our client is a well-respected, Christchurch based company that specialises in distributing aquatic apparel & sports equipment to key retailers in New Zealand & Australia. With a strong focus on client interaction, developing sales opportunities, meeting compliance & production requirements and ensuring brand reputation in the market, no two days will be the same.
Your new role Act as first point of contact for all key client relationships & special projects.
Liaise with graphics team on artworks, packaging & catalogue requirements.
Develop & produce catalogues and pricing for special client presentations.
Connect with both factories & finance to ensure orders are promptly processed.
Inform factory, client and internal teams of any changes affecting orders.
Create easy to use display products, including packaging for clients.
Attend factory inspections (China) for quality assurance & best practice.
What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in sales, production & distribution within the fashion or sporting goods sector will work to your advantage.
Experience in overseas factory production requirements & seasonal timelines.
Passion for working with key retailers to build strong working relationships.
Be comfortable conducting meetings with buyers & merchandising managers.
Exposure to working on or alongside marketing teams for the promotion of products.
Excellent Microsoft skills to conduct & process orders and reports.
Comfortable travelling within NZ and overseas with set timeframes.
