MCS Group is currently working alongside a market leader in waste management and resource recovery solutions to recruit a Sales Operations Manager.Operating in 30 facilities across the UK and Ireland, and employing over 1,500 people, the organisation creates valuable products for conversion or re-use in manufacturing as well as providing a complete water treatment and odour portfolio.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 10+, managing sales operations across the island of Ireland, and driving top-line growth and profitability.Core Responsibilities:Drive adoption and utilisation of CRM, including establishment of metrics and reports to highlight adoption and utilisation performance.Maintain an industry scan on customers and markets to ensure the company has a competitive advantage.Provide additional sales operations project support in close collaboration with the wider team.Create, develop and manage sales targets and pipeline to identify current and future tender opportunities.Create and develop strong working relationships with potential clients.Monitor competitor activity and market conditions, reporting key activity, developments, and issues as necessary.Develop and articulate an effective tender toolkit.Manage the tenders function, delegating tasks but taking ultimate responsibility for the quality of each submission.Set and monitor sales KPIs for BDE & BDMs.Deliver customer service excellence and innovation in proposals.Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.Liaise and build relationships with departmental heads to obtain all necessary detail on their roles and areas of expertise for integration within proposals.Essential Criteria:Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar sized sales operations or sales leadership role.Technical expertise in CRM, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.Detail-oriented.Sales operations technical understanding.Highly numerate with strong analytic skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate at all levels.To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity, please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Ryan McMahon, Specialist Consultant.
