Sales & Marketing Co-Ordinator

Uniquely Nelson is a marketing organisation that promotes the city's wonderful experiences, including hospitality, retail, art, and events. We want a special person who can work with a small team dedicated to supporting our businesses in our beautiful city. Be the best of the best in a fast-moving work environment, Uniquely Nelson. We want a membership guru, a digital wizard, and a master of social media.
About the role: $25.00 per hour plus commission.
This role is unique as it offers a mix of sales and marketing. You will work closely with various businesses, which also support each other that makes our city what it is.
Key responsibilities:
Prospecting and selling UN membership to Nelson City businesses.
Online & Content marketing activity.
Content management for our different online platforms.
Assist the team with event organising.
Strong understanding of databases and MailChimp.
Invoicing of clients and understanding of Xero accounting.
What we are looking for:
Someone who is a hunter, not a gatherer, with a strong sales background who uses strong interpersonal skills to explore options and reach optimal outcomes.
Work hard and grow with the role; it's all about relationships and networking.
High Communicator & Team Player: You communicate well, collaborate with the delivery team, and advocate for client results.
