ABOUT THE ROLE
Fabrum has recently acquired Alec Farrar, and now offers a unique combination of Foundry, Waterjet, and Machine Shop services enabling us to provide a comprehensive and high-quality subcontract manufacturing offering.
The Sales Manager, Manufacturing will play a key role in expanding the subcontract manufacturing side of Fabrum's growth. With a focus on driving sales and profitability growth, the successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Take ownership of subcontract sales growth across all manufacturing units by developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies.
Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing existing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Define and communicate Fabrum's unique value proposition to target specific market segments and secure profitable and sustainable contracts.
Help to improve end to end sales processes, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and resilient.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate quoting, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will need:
Proven experience in sales and sub-contract manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to grow business through developing and managing key customer relationships.
Capability to develop and implement new go-to-market strategies.
Exposure or experience quoting or pricing.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the business to improve processes and systems.
Experience working with sales and manufacturing systems such as NetSuite or other ERP.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The interview process will be in three stages, including a phone interview with our HR Manager, followed by in-person or video interviews with the Manufacturing Manager and Composites Manager.
