As proud "Ambassadors" of l'Art de Vivre around the world, we are committed to delivering hospitality excellence and heartfelt service, in a manner that is tailor-made to our guests.Location of work: 11 Bolton Street, Wellington 6011Hours of work: 40 hours per weekJob DescriptionSales Acquisition: Responsible for developing new business opportunities for Sofitel Wellington through business development practices with a focus on proactive sales initiatives while building and maintaining account relationships. Establish and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing clients/business relationships to create a strong return client/business base. Identifying revenue opportunities and undertaking direct sales activity to convert to business. Maximize leads & opportunities for C&E, corporate, association, and government business and ensure high conversion levels. Increase the level of business mix from individual accounts by maximizing on every opportunity across every layer, within all markets. A strong communicator, who is highly organized, motivating and empowering who inspires their team to produce a luxury standard of service.Data Analysis and Market Insights: Identify data sources to ensure meaningful insights for business strategies. Be conversant with distribution channels and the guest journey to maximize hotel visibility and performance. Research and define new revenue generation in niche markets and opportunities.Pipeline Management and Performance Review: Act as the custodian of the sales pipeline, contributing to the weekly review of commercial performance and sales strategies across the hotel. Manage a portfolio of multiple account relationships and stakeholder accounts to leverage and maximize revenue opportunity. Represent the hotels at trade shows, seminars, industry networking events and promotional activities/events as required. Organize and host on-site client entertainment, site inspections and familiarization visits. Manage corporate RFP submissions for both hotels and ensure all RFP submissions across all channels are submitted in a detailed and timely manner.Sales Proposals and Event Coordination: Assist in preparing and presenting personalized sales proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the hotel's service features and benefits. Work closely with the Conferencing team to ensure the seamless delivery of each event. Initiate C&E focused promotions to drive business through low demand periods.
