Responsibilities
Lead and support the sales team based in New Zealand and overseas, applying your knowledge of best-practice sales methodologies.
Drive business development activity and customer acquisition - prospecting new clients and converting new business opportunities that can be passed to account managers.
Engage in a mix of in-person and virtual selling and customer management with emerging and existing customers across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets.
Set and uphold high sales standards, providing hands-on coaching and direction to ensure your team is supported to achieve results.
About you
You have already successfully scaled sales in a fast-growing market. You might be a senior Business Development Manager ready to prove your leadership potential, or a seasoned leader with a passion for new business development. A 'true' salesperson, you can demonstrate:
A proven history of developing new business
Strategic sales leadership
A results-driven approach, coupled with the ability to motivate a team and bring them on the journey
A track record in B2B sales, ideally with experience of working with e-commerce merchants or retailers
An excellent understanding of how to build meaningful relationships with customers
You may also have experience of working with remote or regional sales teams and will understand the dynamics of supporting international sales efforts.
