Sales Manager – Auckland Region Eden Terrace, Auckland Full time We're looking for an out-going Sales Manager to join our Auckland team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Trade Sales, New Zealand your primary objective is to drive sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting The Travel Corporation (TTC) travel brands - Contiki, Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, AAT Kings, Costsaver, Luxury Gold, Inspiring Journeys and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises for the Aotearoa New Zealand market. Joining a dynamic wider sales team, working across a diverse portfolio of brands (from youth to luxury), your sales passion will help power results. As an out-going Sales Manager with a passion for travel, your responsibilities will include: Compiling and implementing a sales plan including key accounts that address their specific needs, enabling the successful achievement of the sales targets within a territory. Provide robust training opportunities for travel agents through weekly trainings, client presentations and product information sessions. Identify and develop new business opportunities with key stakeholders including shows and events that would be beneficial to the brands', ensuring ROI is met. Maintain an effective frequent call cycle ensuring all sales activities are recorded in the CRM including trainings, appointments, tasks, customer feedback and other sales activities in a timely manner. Strengthen and nurture relationships and achieve growth with key preforming accounts. Stay abreast of competitor and on-trend information within the industry. Creation of sales reports that are accurate, detailed and submitted within a desired timeframe. Actively seek out and foster group business. Manage sales manager budget in the most cost-effective way, being mindful of established policies. Confident in presenting in front of large audiences. Other duties as required. Our ideal candidate will bring: Excellent presentation skills. Previous experience as a Sales Manager or BDM in the travel and tourism industry is highly desirable.
