Sales Manager: Market leading B2B company looking for a Sales Manager superstar to support further growth & success
Exciting opportunity to join a business in serious growth mode and be the key person in the overall delivery of sales performance. Big Blue is New Zealand's leading drinking water solutions provider across B2B and Government markets.
Reporting directly into a dynamic General Manager, this role will be a key member of the management team and offers huge growth potential for the right person. This opportunity is for an ambitious and hungry sales manager – this is a busy and high-energy role and just isn't suited for profiles with account management or "farming" preferences.
About the Role:
This is a varied growth focused management position and will help support & drive the sales function throughout New Zealand. Key responsibilities and opportunities include:
Managing a small team of existing BDMs across inbound, outbound, monthly campaigns, and retention activities. This is a core part of the role and requires someone who is highly organised, responsive, and has an energetic management style.
Hitting your own sales targets – including focusing on acquiring new key account customers across the B2B & Government segments. There is a real mix of deal size and the role needs someone who is more than happy to deal with all types of sales and plenty of hustle.
Taking ownership of relevant existing key accounts and growing our product suite in those accounts.
Implementing of growth strategies, key sales objectives, projects, and budgetary performance.
Delivering regular reporting, analysis, and insights – this includes sales forecasting, performance, insights, and pipeline management.
A competitive overall package is available – base salary, company vehicle, commission, bonus structure, and Southern Cross health insurance scheme. There will be occasional domestic travel in this role as well.
About You:
This role is all about finding the right fit for both you and us.
We're ideally looking for someone with 5+ years' experience in a similar B2B sales focused role.
Someone who genuinely enjoys being deeply involved in sales (and loves exceeding targets!) and wants to join a team on a major growth mission.
Being able to get the best out of your team and gelling well with internal stakeholders will set a strong foundation of growth for your continued development.
Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and bringing your high standards to the table every single day are all crucial to being successful in this role.
You will be self-motivated, adaptable, and want to be part of a fast-paced working environment.
