Sales Manager, Eastern – NZ Ski, K-Jet, the HermitageQueenstown 9300, New Zealand Req #440Monday, 6 January 2025An extremely unique opportunity exists to work and promote three of New Zealand's most iconic tourism brands, based out of our head office in Queenstown.
The Sales Manager, Eastern is responsible for providing strategic sales and marketing management of the FIT and wholesale sales for the China and broader Eastern market to NZSki , Kjet , and the Hermitage Hotel, as well as other Trojan businesses.This is a new position, offering exciting scope to bring your skills, relationships, experience, and exemplary understanding of the tourism industry to our businesses and customers.
Working closely with key colleagues in these businesses, you will ensure that financial goals are met through developing and executing sales and marketing plans, first-class promotions, and nurturing customer relationships that assist in maximizing exposure within the China and broader Eastern market.Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver the sales and marketing strategy for the China and broader Eastern market in collaboration with stakeholders from NZSki , Kjet , and the Hermitage.Introduce NZSki , Kjet , and the Hermitage Hotel to new travel trade partners, and strengthen existing travel trade relationships to drive revenue opportunities across all businesses.Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to expand market share and growth for all products.Continuously improve digital channels for the China and Eastern market.Negotiate rates and contracts with colleagues within NZSki , Kjet , and Hermitage Hotel, managing relationships with retail, wholesale, and inbound travel trade industry professionals.Utilize customer insights and data to drive category distribution and market share.Represent NZSki , Kjet , and the Hermitage at key trade and sales events such as TRENZ and drive offshore training and sales events.What You Will Bring to the Role:Previous experience in a senior Sales & Marketing position focused on China and the broader Eastern region.Fluency in English and Mandarin.Proven experience in building and maintaining business relationships.Experience in utilizing data to create sales and marketing plans and actions.Strong business acumen.Willingness to travel and work varying hours as work duties require.Role and Benefits:Full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.Access to company benefits across NZSki , Kjet , and Hermitage Hotel, including discounts and free experiences.If you are an experienced and passionate sales professional with a deep understanding of the Eastern market and a love for working with iconic tourism brands, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
