We are looking for a new Sales Manager!
This is a face-fronting role representing RadioActive.FM, candidates should relate to people well.
The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of local Wellington businesses as well as national and multinational promoters and agencies who align with the station's values.
It would be helpful to have a good understanding of the local music scene.
They should also have a feel for the culture of Radio Active and the unique position it occupies within Wellington and Aotearoa broadcast landscape.

Key responsibilities include: Achieving sales targets Maintaining and growing our current base of advertisers and prospects Liaising with current and potential clients and businesses while managing current client base Create inventive and individual campaigns to suit each client Sourcing new business opportunities Updating clients on new initiatives Representing the station at industry, consumer and listener events Delegate tasks to necessary staff members in a clear and concise manner Monitor delegated tasks and ensure timely completion Keep rate cards, media kits and other sales collateral up to date Creating new revenue streams for the station Creating client contracts, monitoring expiry dates and processing renewals Creating and sending invoices, and following up on overdue payments Managing and updating sales spreadsheet Extra tasks may include: updating website with event listings, helping organise RadioActive.FM events, sourcing one-off sponsors, managing collaborations with local stakeholders.
Necessary Skills: Great verbal and written communication Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Xero software Sales and/or marketing experience Full driver's license and personal transport Great time management Preferred Skills: Experience using graphic design platforms or software Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
